General conditions

The following general conditions are an integral part of the contract drawn up with Sardegna Holiday CAV.
All guests can book the apartment both by telephone and through the proper contact module that can be downloaded directly from the web site Booking is not binding. Guests will be informed on prices, availability and stay conditions via mail or fax. Booking is confirmed only when you’ll receive a confirming e-mail from SARDEGNAHOLIDAY CAV that is sent to you immediately after receiving an amount of money in earnest. All earnests that arrive with a five-day delay running from the date in which the apartment is placed at one’s disposal, will be rejected. Payments made with this timing will determine the cancellation of the contract. All prices on website are to be considered just as an indication. Sardegna Holiday C. A. V. reserves the right to change prices without giving notice.

Deposit must be paid directly to Sardegna Holiday C.A.V. by wire transfer or by post (postal order or registered post containing certified cheques). The amount corresponds to 38% of the fixed rent price. Guests will receive bank details by mail or by fax, at the time of booking. Full payment of the rent and any additional, has to be made at the time of arrival. At this moment, you’ll be given both keys and the apartment.

3.1) Guests’ withdraw has to be communicated in a written form by fax or other useful ways within 60 days prior to stay. Non-observance of this rule will determine a penalty, calculated on a percentage base, as indicated on the document sent to you by Sardegna Holiday at the moment of booking. Penalties related to guests’ withdraw are part of the contract drawn up with Sardegna Holiday C.A.V. and will be applied on the 70% of the remaining amount because, 30% of it has been paid in advance as an earnest.
3.2) At the moment of booking, Sardegna Holiday C.A.V. and the renter of the apartment can decide for a different solution than the one showed at [3.1].
In case of withdraw, Sardegna Holiday will do its best in order to rent the apartment being canceled again. In this case penalties will be reduced or removed.

Keys will be given on the date of arrival between 11.00 and twelve o’clock. If there is a delay or you arrive in advance, you must get in touch immediately with Sardegna Holiday C.A.V. at contact numbers. In case Sardegna Holiday isn’t informed, the apartment will be kept available until the next day at 10:00 o’clock. From this moment on, Sardegna Holiday C.A.V. will be free to rent the apartment again with all consequences indicated at point [3.1]. Anticipated departures or shorter stays will be charged for the entire stay. Tenants must leave the apartment within 9:00 o’clock of departure day. Cleaning will be done by Sardegna Holiday C.A.V. with a payment that has to be decided. Although Sardegna Holiday is in charge of cleaning, stoves, plates and kitchenware have to be left clean, the refrigerator has to be empty and there has to be no rubbish around. Non-observance of this rule will determine additional fees that will be fixed upon the withdraw of the contract.

Sardegna Holiday C.A.V. strictly forbids the presence of a higher number of guests then the one mentioned when booking. On this matter, children are considered as adults. An additional person may be admitted by Sardegna Holiday, on request, and with the payment of a surcharge that has to be previously agreed. Domestic animals can be kept only if authorized and with a surcharge payment. Personal heaters or electric hot plates aren’t allowed. All guests must comply with the rules of each apartment and observe carefully common rules of silence, particularly in the afternoon and during the night, and good manners. Non-observance of these rules will determine the cancellation of the contract.

All apartments are in perfect sanitary conditions, entirely furnished and provided with gas stoves, hot and cold water and 220 Watt electrical Energy. Each bed has a blanket and a pillow. Bed linen and towels are to be brought by guests. Sheets and pillow cases can be rented on request.

Tenants must take care of the apartment and of apartment equipment (kitchenware, refrigerators, mattresses, etc.). Claims regarding the apartment will be accepted only 24 hours after arrival. Compensation for breaking or damages will be paid at list price. When the contract is being drawn up, Sardegna Holiday C.A.V. will ask for a sum of money as security.

Sardegna Holiday deals without intermediaries and has no civil or penal responsibility for any damage caused, even by chance, to movables or immovables and which may involve the renter, cohabitants, or people invited. Sardegna Holiday will however help to solve possible problems in the shortest period of time. Sardegna Holiday has no responsibility for lost luggage and for any kind of problem related to strikes, terrorist attacks, popular rebellion, illness, local laws, weather conditions, natural calamities or any other activity and situations out of control. In case of litigation the competent court is Lanusei.
Sardegna Holiday C.A.V. reserves the right to change these general conditions at any moment.
Rules and principals are to be taken as a guarantee of quality and Sardegna Holiday appreciates any suggestion made to upgrade service.
